The Bengal Cat is a cross between the wild Asian Leopard and a Domestic Tabby house cat. Bengal's are 4 generations removed from the wild. They retain 17% wild blood and it is this that makes an unusual and wonderful pet. Adult Bengal males weigh from 14 to 20 lbs and females 8 to12 lbs. They do not require any special care, they eat a good quality dry food and clean fresh water. The traditional Bengal has a brown spotted coat pattern with contrast of coloring the coat resembles a pelt with a sheen or glittering as it is called. This is the Brown Spotted Tabby. Also recognized is the Marble Bengal with a large swirled pattern of a tri-color appearance. Snows, either Lynx-Point, Milk or Sepia with coats of Ivory to Cream and darker body markings. Eyes are either blue or the blue-green or gold. Our Cattery is registered with TICA and TIBCS and we follow and adhere to their guidelines and code of ethics. We are also a proud subscriber to TIBCC. We specialize in raising healthy, intelligent, exotic looking, top Quality Bengal Cats with superior bloodlines.
